SOURCE SOP

Refund escalation procedure

Tier 1 may refund orders under $150 within 30 days when no prior return was marked used or damaged.

Duplicate charges always require Tier 2 verification.

Log the reason code before processing.

What you can refund yourself

Check all three conditions before you process. One failed condition sends the request to the next reviewer.

A $92 order is 11 days old, but the item was returned used before. What now?

Refund it directly
Escalate it to Tier 2

Why documents are not enough

A shorter document is still a document.

A summary can make a procedure easier to read, but it does not show whether an employee can follow the steps or handle an exception. Rampwise turns the procedure into questions the employee must answer.

01

Find the teaching points

Rampwise identifies the rules, steps, exceptions, and role handoffs that need their own lesson.

02

Create knowledge checks

The course asks employees to choose an action, order steps, match tasks to roles, and explain the rule through feedback.

03

Review before publishing

Admins can edit the lessons, questions, answers, and feedback while the course stays private.

Rule from the SOP
“Any Tier 1 agent can refund an order directly only when the value is under $150, the purchase is within 30 days, and the item has no prior used or damaged flag.”

The lesson, question, correct answer, and feedback must all keep those three conditions. An admin checks the result before publishing it.

How Rampwise checks the course

The result is a course, not a summary.

Employees move through lessons and answer knowledge checks. Rampwise saves lesson completion in the same organization workspace.

  • Every course starts as a private draft
  • Admins can preview and edit every lesson
  • An incomplete course cannot be published
  • Employees see only courses assigned to them

Where teams use Rampwise

Build training for any process employees must follow.

PDF procedures

Upload the approved PDF from the homepage and carry the extracted text into your private draft.

DOCX procedures

Upload the working document directly instead of copying and pasting the text by hand.

RTF procedures

Use rich text files exported from Word, TextEdit, or older operations systems without converting them first.

Procedure updates

Create a new draft when an important change requires employees to learn a different step, limit, or approval path.

Common questions

What Rampwise does and does not replace.

Keep your document system and HR software. Rampwise builds and delivers training from the procedures stored there.

Can I upload a PDF, DOCX, or RTF directly?

Yes. The homepage accepts PDF, DOCX, RTF, TXT, and Markdown files up to 8 MB. Rampwise checks that it can read the text before asking you to create an account.

Will the document styling be preserved?

No. Rampwise uses the procedure text to build a course. It does not reproduce the original document layout.

How much text can the course use?

The course source can contain between 400 and 60,000 characters.

Can I review the result before paying?

Yes. You can create and review one private course draft for free.

Upload one SOP and review the course for free.

Pay only when you are ready to publish it, assign employees, and track completion.
